The Angler & Sponsor Banquet is complete from here in Florence, AL.  Close to 400 of college fishing’s top anglers proceeded through the Marriott Shoals Convention Center for registration and the sponsor meet & greet.

Day 1 of tournament competition for the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops will begin tomorrow.  Official takeoff will begin with boat number one at 6:00 AM.  Weigh-in will be streamed live beginning at 2:00 PM.  Follow along with the live blog for updates from on the water!

Bass Pro Shops strives to provide student anglers with the highest level of tournament competition and rewards.  In carrying out that mission, Bass Pro Shops rewards college tournament anglers through its Collegiate Bass Fishing Contingency Program.  Eligible anglers competing on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series in 2024 will have the chance earn up to an additional $2,000.

The Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is an event that is eligible for an angler to claim the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Contingency Program.  To be eligible to claim the contingency bonus this week, click here or scan the QR code on-site Wednesday night.

REMINDER: Don’t forget to bring an old reel of any brand to the Angler & Sponsor Banquet so that you can participate in the Abu Garcia Trade-In and Trade-Up Program.  At the Angler & Sponsor Banquet on Wednesday night of Championship Week, anglers will be able to bring an old reel, no matter the brand, to trade in and receive a new Abu Garcia Revo5 SX or Revo3 SX reel.  The old reels that are donated will go to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources for usage in various programs.

As we highlight contingency programs available to anglers at the ACA National Championship this week, we will now take a look at T-H Marine Atlas Awards.  To qualify for the tournament contingency bonus, anglers must register prior to the event and run a T-H Marine ATLAS Jack Plate.  Anglers that are registered for Atlas Awards will be eligible to earn $200 at regular season events, and $500 at the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Today is the final day of official practice for the 2024 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.  Following the conclusion of practice this afternoon, teams will make their way to the Marriott Shoals Convention Center for the annual Angler & Sponsor Banquet.  Competitors will have the opportunity to meet with some of the top brands in the industry, sign up for various programs, as well as receive free swag.
