ACA Online Tournament: December 31, 2020 Leaderboard Update

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 31, 2020) – The Association of Collegiate Anglers and Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series are holding their second-ever Online Tournament during the holiday break.  This Online Tournament is designed to give college anglers an incentive to go out and fish, engage in a friendly competition, and earn valuable prizes and points towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.  Here is a look at the current Top 10 in the ‘Bass Only’ Division:

  1. Cole Rankin – Carson-Newman University, Fish Length: 23.10 in.
  2. Trevor McKinney – McKendree University, Fish Length: 22.75 in.
  3. Lucas Harrison – University of Kentucky, Fish Length: 21.70 in.

T4. Jake Shelton – University of Arkansas, Fish Length: 21.50 in.

T4. Brenton Godwin – University of Montevallo, Fish Length: 21.50 in.

  1. William LaMotte – University of Arkansas, Fish Length: 21.20 in.
  2. Josh Kelly – University of Akron, Fish Length: 21.00 in.

T8. Kyle Svachula – University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Fish Length: 20.75 in.

T8. Seth Moser – University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, Fish Length: 20.75 in.

10. Stone Payne – University of Tennessee, Fish Length: 20.50 in.

The ACA Holiday Break Online Tournament is scheduled to conclude on January 10th, 2021 at 6:00 PM (CST).  Anglers are encouraged to go out and catch fish of all species and submit them via the online submission form.  For the ‘Non-Bass’ Division, five submissions will be selected at random to earn prizes for their participation in the Online Tournament.  In the ‘Bass Only’ division, the Top 10 longest fish will earn prizes for their efforts.  1st Place will also earn 50 points for their school in the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia, with points decreasing by five-point increments down to 10th overall.

Competitors are also encouraged to share traditional grab & grin pictures of themselves holding the fish as well!  Feel free to post those pictures to social media using #TeamOutdoors and #WeAreCollegiateBass.  There will be social media prizes included throughout the event as well for anglers who use the proper hashtags listed above.
