Evolution Fishing Announced As Title Sponsor Of The ACA’s Pickwick Slam Presented By Evolution Fishing

San Antonio, TX (March 22, 2023) – The Association of Collegiate Anglers is excited to announce Evolution Fishing as the presenting sponsor of its first event in 2023. The Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing is set to take place at Pickwick Lake in Florence, AL on April 22-23. This ACA major event will pay out over $20,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as award double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.

Evolution Fishing is the presenting sponsor of the Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing, the Association of Collegiate Anglers’ next event on the schedule this season. As part of this presenting sponsorship, Evolution Fishing will be on-site at Pickwick Lake in Florence, AL, and Evolution Fishing products will be featured in the overall prize payout for the tournament.

The Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing is set to be contested at Pickwick Lake in Florence, AL on April 22-23, 2023. This two-day, no-entry-fee, traditional five bass limit format event will pay out over $20,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as award double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. Along with the robust payout, the Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing will feature extensive media coverage, be nationally televised, along with live weigh-in streaming on Outdoor Action TV.

The final ACA major regular-season event before the year-end Championship at Lake Hartwell in May, the Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing will be key in the race for Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. As a double points event, teams will be eligible to earn points for their two highest-finishing teams. Just over two months remain in this season and every point counts as we start the stretch run towards the end of the season.

Along with the prizes and points on the line at the Pickwick Slam presented by Evolution Fishing, each of the teams that finish in the Top 10 overall at the tournament will earn automatic qualification into the 2023 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops at Lake Hartwell.
