Congratulations to Evan Mabrey from 6th ranked University of Montevallo on winning Session 3 presented by Berkley. Evan brought in a bass weighing 7.11 pounds to win the final session. The session victory nets him a $1,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, Berkley Baits, and 1 Abu Garcia casting rod.

Jonah Durden from Webber International wins Day 2 Session 2 presented by T-H Marine with this fish weighing 6.70 pounds. For winning the session, Jonah will receive a T-H Marine HydroWave, T-H Marine trailer reverse light kit, and $300 Bass Pro Shops gift card. That fish is also the Overall Big Bass of the tournament at the moment.
Here is a look at the Top 10 for Session 2 presented by T-H Marine. Once again, it took well over four pounds for an angler to place in the Top 10 of a session and win a prize.

At the conclusion of weigh-in today, an Overall Winner will be awarded. Jonah Durden from Webber International currently holds big bass honors for the event with 6.70 pounds. The payout for Overall Winner is valued at close to $4,000. 1st place will receive a Power-Pole gift certificate, Turtlebox Speaker, $1,000 Bass Pro Shops gift card, 1 Abu Garcia casting rod, a pair of Bajío Sunglasses, and a Trailer Valet drop hitch.

The weights for the fish we’ve seen today have been very impressive. During Session 1 presented by Abu Garcia, it took over four pounds to place inside the Top 10. So far for Session 2 presented by T-H Marine, 9 of the Top 10 bass all eclipse the four pound mark. This speaks to the success anglers are having out Kentucky Lake with Berkley baits.

Here is a look at the projected weather forecast for the remainder of competition. There is a slight chance of rain, and the cloud cover will continue. Winds are set to remain light and variable. The stable, unchanging conditions will allow anglers to continue to run patterns that have been working for them.

The no-entry-fee Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley will award over $40,000 in prizes & contingencies.
One of the contingencies that anglers are eligible to claim is T-H Marine Atlas Awards. Anglers that are registered for Atlas Awards will be eligible to earn $200 at regular season events, and $500 at the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.

Conditions today, compared to yesterday, are considerably more cloudy. The extra cloud cover is definitely having an impact on the bite. Anglers are reporting success with a variety of different Berkley topwater baits, with the Cane Walker and J-Walker being the two mentioned most.

Noah Daniels from Itawamba Community College wins Session 1 presented by Abu Garcia with a bass weighing 6.60 pounds. For the session victory Noah receives two Abu Garcia Revo reels, and two Abu Garcia casting rods.

Anglers found a good deal of success catching bass out on Kentucky Lake during Day 1 of the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley. At weigh-in, there was mention of bites coming during the morning, mid-day, and in the afternoon. Today, on the final day of competition, anglers will be permitted to use only Berkley baits.

This year’s event marks the first tournament for the Association of Collegiate Anglers’ historic 20th season. Kentucky Lake, Henry County, and Paris, TN have played a key role in the growth of collegiate fishing during that time. Good Sunday morning from Kentucky Lake in Henry County and Paris, TN! Today marks the final day of tournament competition for the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley. The full field of close to 600 anglers will take to Kentucky Lake again this morning for the first stop of the 2024-25, historic 20th season for the Association of Collegiate Anglers.
At the conclusion of weigh-in today, the ACA will award the remaining portion of the over $40,000 in prizes and contingencies. Today, a total of 40 places will be awarded prizes. The first two sessions of the day will award the Top 10, and the final session of the day pays out the Top 20. An Overall Winner will also be crowned at the conclusion of competition. Anglers are also competing for valuable double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. Schools will be able to earn points for their two highest-placing fish inside of the Top 150. First place will receive 1,750 points for their respective school.
