SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 15, 2025) – In just over one month, the Association of Collegiate Anglers’ historic 20th National Championship will be contested. The Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is set to take place at Lake Hartwell in Anderson, SC on May 22-23, 2025. A no-entry-fee, nationally televised, triple points tournament, college fishing’s longest-running National Championship will be comprised of an elite field of approximately 200 boats.

Anglers compete all season long on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series attempting to gain qualification into the ACA National Championship. College bass fishing teams are able to earn qualification through a variety of criteria including competing in events, top finishes, and National Ranking in the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. First contested in 2006 at Lake Lewisville in Texas, the Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops is college fishing’s longest-running National Championship. The 2025 edition of this event will mark the Association of Collegiate Anglers’ 20th National Championship.
Anglers will be competing for over $30,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as triple points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.
