BUFF® Expands Multi-Functional Headwear Selection
Santa Rosa, California – A look for any style and a fit for any need — that’s what the BUFF® family of multi-functional headwear brings to the party. Long hair, short hair, no hair; no problem. With a dozen configurations — from cap to balaclava, to gaiter to hair tie — this unique seamless tubular headwear has you covered neck-to-noggin.
Expanding its lineup of performance-proven and multisport-versatile headwear — a category it pioneered 25 years ago — BUFF® proudly unveils an impressive set of 2018 additions. Outwardly striking, and big on the protection and comfort factors, these debut items perfectly address the needs of anglers, hunters, kayakers, cyclists, runners, campers and anyone pursuing their outdoor passion.
New for 2018 models include:
UV Multifunctional Headwear — Continuing the tradition of stylish versatility established by BUFF®’s original Multifunctional Headwear, the UV styles help protect your skin and ensure comfort by blocking 90 percent of the sun’s harmful rays.
And talk about self-expression, the UV lineup debuts 34 new patterns, including amazingly lifelike designs by renowned marine artists Guy Harvey and Derek DeYoung, along with the vintage-inspired national parks collection.
Bug Slinger — Artist and fly fishing aficionado Rob McAbee delivers eight new patterns that are sure to delight discerning long rodders.
UV XL — Boasting all the moisture-wicking, odor-managing sun protection of the original style, the XL models offer an extra 1 1/4 inch of additional width for a roomier, more relaxed fit. BUFF® adds nine new patterns, including two awesome Guy Harvey designs.
Junior UV — Hey kids; ya’ll got your own thing. Four cool new patterns and seamless construction for super comfort — even under a helmet.
UV Insect Shield — Little biters got you swattin’ and wavin’? BUFF®’s Insect Shield stops a host of undesirables from Florida sand gnats to the black flies of Canadian streams and all the mosquitos, ticks, ants, chiggers and midges in between. Also available in a more spacious XL version, this lineup adds eight new patterns for 2018.
These new releases complement the existing lineup of BUFF® Multifunctional Headwear, which includes designs by digital painting/projection artist Android Jones, as well as patterns honoring Breast Cancer prevention, National Geographic and the backpacking world’s Triple Crown.
BUFF®’s original Multifunctional Headwear line also includes Junior, Reflective, Merino Wool and Polar styles. The latter blends a Polartec Classic 100 fleece base with a full-length original multifunctional headwear to bolster BUFF®’s versatile performance with an extra level of warmth for those chilly adventures. There’s even a selection of standard and Reflective patterns for dog neckwear.
