Abu Garcia Renews with the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and the Association of Collegiate Anglers

Abu Garcia® and the Association of Collegiate Anglers have announced their partnership for the 2017 Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.

“We are very excited to partner with the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series for the 2017 season.  This partnership allows us to connect directly with collegiate anglers. We look forward to supporting these anglers and facilitating the growth of competitive collegiate bass fishing,” said Andrew Wheeler, Brand Business Manager for Abu Garcia.

As part of the partnership, collegiate anglers competing in the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series will have an opportunity to win Abu Garcia® Revo® reels by catching the big bass of each day, at each of the four events. To qualify to win, the collegiate anglers must catch the daily big bass on any Abu Garcia® Revo® reel.  The awards will be given out after each daily weigh in following the events which are scheduled for the following dates and venues:

  • Cabela’s Collegiate Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley – March 10-12, 2017 – Kentucky Lake – Paris, TN
  • Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Open – March 24-26, 2017 –Lake Dardanelle – Russellville, AR
  • Texas Collegiate Challenge presented by Abu Garcia® – April 30, 2017 – Lake Texoma – Denison, TX
  • BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship – May 24-26, 2017 – Pickwick Lake – Florence, AL
