Adrian College Anglers Claim G2 Gemini Jerseys Contingency Bonus at Pickwick Slam

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 9, 2025) – Over 270 boats competed at the no-entry-fee, nationally televised Pickwick Slam last weekend.  The field of elite college anglers competed at Pickwick Lake in hopes of claiming their share of the more than $20,000 in prizes and contingencies up for grabs.  One of those contingencies awarded in Florence, AL was the G2 Gemini Jerseys Contingency Bonus.

Paxton Giem & Jerry Brumbaugh from 12^th ranked Adrian College earned the G2 Gemini Jerseys Contingency bonus.  The anglers each earn a $100 G2 Gemini Jerseys gift certificate, for a total additional payout of $200.

Giem & Brumbaugh finished in 2^nd place at the Pickwick Slam.  The two Adrian College anglers weighed in a five bass limit for 24.77 pounds.  That total was just under one pound behind 1^st place, and earned them the contingency bonus as being the highest-placing G2 Gemini jersey wearing team.

The G2 Gemini Jerseys Contingency is available at all ACA events during the 2024-25 season.  The highest finishing angler/team, where one or both anglers are wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey, at each ACA event will receive a G2 Gemini Jerseys gift card.  In the case when the highest-finishing G2 Gemini Jersey wearer is a two-angler team, each angler wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey will receive a $100 Gemini gift card, for a total payout of up to $200.  If the highest-placing finisher wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey is an individual angler, that angler will receive a $100 gift card.
