Cash in on Contingencies at the 2020 Championship
SAN ANTONIO, TX (5/27/2020) – At each Association of Collegiate Anglers event, a large amount of money is available to win through contingency programs and payouts from series partners. At the 2020 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops all those prizes increase to include the 1st place winning team being eligible for an additional $6,250 in contingency payouts if they meet all of the various criteria. Combine that with the $5,000 overall 1st place cash prize, and the winner of the 2020 Championship could go home with as much as $11,250 in cash and payouts.
For college anglers competing during Championship week, they should know that each contingency program has its own specific rules & requirements for anglers to be eligible. Several of the programs will payout just for 1st place, while others will award the highest-finishing team if the winner does not qualify, which could mean earning big prizes way down in the field. Listed below are the contingencies available at the Championship, along with a link to register and find more information:
ACA Logo
The Association of Collegiate Anglers will award up to $1,000 for qualifying team that has the series logo on their jersey. Individuals are eligible to earn up to $500. Click for more details.
Bass Pro Shops
If the winning team meets the requirements for the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Contingency Program, they will earn $2,000 ($1,000 each) in Bass Pro Shops gift cards. The qualified angler is responsible for claiming this contingency.
Ranger Cup
Ranger Boats will honor its premier Ranger Cup contingency program at the Championship. The highest finishing registered team will receive $2,000 and qualification into the Team of the Year Challenge.
Yamaha Power Pay
Yamaha Power Pay is the newest contingency on the line at the Championship. The highest-finishing qualified team will receive $1,000 or if the winning team is eligible, they will win $2,000. It is up to the angler to redeem this contingency.
Garmin Tournament Rewards

Mossy Oak Elements
Wear Mossy elements on your jersey and get rewarded! If the 1st place team adheres to all criteria, they earn $500. If the winner does not qualify, the highest-finishing team inside the Top 10 will get a $100 Bass Pro Shops gift card. Learn more now.
