Design New Jerseys for the New Year to Represent Your College Fishing Team Out On the Water

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 14, 2023) – The fall semester has come to an end, and in just a few weeks the second half of the 2023-24 season for the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia will begin.  In preparation for the 2024 calendar year, many college fishing teams and clubs will begin designing and order their new jerseys to wear out on the water.

G2 Gemini Jerseys offers college anglers a 50% off discount purchase program through its partnership with the Association of Collegiate Anglers.  Active college anglers, in good standing with their team and university, will be eligible to apply for a 50% off discount when purchasing a jersey on the G2 Gemini Jerseys website.  Anglers can apply for the discount and purchase their jerseys at this link.  The discount is good for use on jerseys and hoodies.

Along with the jersey discount offered to college anglers, G2 Gemini Jerseys also offers a tournament contingency program to competitors at all ACA events for sporting a G2 Gemini Jersey.

The highest finishing angler/team, where one or both anglers are wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey, at each of the four ACA events in 2024 will receive a G2 Gemini Jerseys gift card.  In the case when the highest-finishing G2 Gemini Jersey wearer is a two-angler team, each angler wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey will receive a $100 Gemini gift card, for a total payout of up to $200.  If the highest-placing finisher wearing a G2 Gemini Jersey is an individual angler, that angler will receive a $100 gift card.

  • Hartwell Slam – Lake Hartwell – April 13-14, 2024
  • Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops – Pickwick Lake– May 23-24, 2024
  • Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley – Kentucky Lake -September 21-22, 2024
  • AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open – Lake Dardanelle – October 12-14, 2024

Trenton Underwood and Lane Taylor earned the G2 Gemini Jerseys Contingency bonus at the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open on Lake Dardanelle earlier this fall.  The pair of anglers from Northeastern State University each earned a $100 G2 Gemini Jerseys gift certificate, for a total additional payout of $200.  Underwood and Taylor finished in 11th place out of the nearly 240 boat field of elite college anglers.

“It was awesome to see the support they give us. They are great looking jerseys and very comfortable,” noted Taylor.

“It felt great knowing they give back to us anglers. For as long as I know we’ve ran G2 Gemini Jerseys at NSU, they’ve always looked good and they’re super easy to work with,” said Underwood.  “With me being the President on the team, it’s always a good thing to have someone that’s willing to work with you like G2 Gemini and it feels good getting a little extra money back in your pocket.”
