Weather will play a key factor this week. Projected highs are in the upper 80’s, with a significant chance of rain each day. It appears these storms are of the typical summer variety, just standard pop up showers. This could be enough though to impact both the anglers and the fish.
As for right now out on Pickwick Lake, it is partly cloudy with temperatures right around 80 degrees, and minimal wind. Such conditions should give competitors the chance to get out on the water and explore the many miles of Pickwick Lake waters.
