Registration Opens for the 2024 Hartwell Slam on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, SC
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 4, 2024) – The Association of Collegiate Anglers announces the opening of registration for the 2024 Hartwell Slam on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, SC.

The Hartwell Slam will be the first event of 2024 for the ACA, and the third of four major tournaments for the 2023-24 season on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. This is a no-entry-fee, two-day tournament, featuring no field limits, that will be nationally televised. Anglers will be competing for over $20,000 in prizes and contingencies, as well as double points to count towards the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.
“It’s hard to believe that 2024 is already here! We’re excited for the upcoming spring season and to get to Lake Hartwell this upcoming April,” said Kyle Curry, ACA Managing Director.
The Hartwell Slam will be contested on Lake Hartwell at Green Pond Landing in Anderson, SC on April 13-14, 2024.

At Lake Hartwell, along with the valuable prizes, contingencies, and points up for grabs, teams will also be competing for automatic qualification spots into the 2024 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops at Pickwick Lake on May 23-24, 2024. The Top 15 finishing angler pairings at the 2024 Hartwell Slam automatically qualify to compete in the 2024 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops. These qualified angler pairing entries must compete as the same angler pairing that competed at the 2024 Hartwell Slam. There is not a limit to the number of entries into the 2024 ACA National Championship that can qualify via this Top 15 finish. The Hartwell Slam will be the final event at which anglers can earn automatic qualification into the 2024 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.
This tournament will also be key in defining the race for the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia. The Hartwell Slam is the last ACA major double points event before the triple points Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops in May. Schools will be looking to secure as many points as possible as they aim to finish the year high up in the National Rankings.
