Yamaha Outboards Continues Collegiate Bass Fishing Support for 15th Year in a Row
San Antonio, TX (January 6, 2020) – The Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA), along with the Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, are proud to announce their renewed partnership with Yamaha Outboards. As in years past, the 2020 sponsorship includes the annual Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship in May 2020, Yamaha Power Pay Contingency Program, as well as extensive promotion of Yamaha Marine products.
The Yamaha Power Pay is a contingency program for tournament anglers who own, and run with, a Yamaha outboard motor on their boat. All you have to do is get registered, participate in a contingency paying tournament, and post the highest placing finish of those who have registered for the Yamaha Power Pay Program and win up to $2,000. Complete details can be found on the Power Pay site: yamahapowerpay.com.
“We want to commend the Association of Collegiate Anglers for their accomplishments year after year in promoting these events,” said David Ittner, Yamaha Marine Group Tournament, Sponsorship and Pro Staff Manager. “We see our future in these Collegiate Anglers and will remain committed to the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series again for 2020 and that is evident by the all-new Yamaha Power Pay contingency program.
Collegiate anglers competing in the 2020 BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship in Florence, Alabama, will once again get to enjoy Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night during Championship Week. This annual event has become a favorite among college anglers, and includes spending time with top industry pros, sponsor booths, demo boat rides from Ranger Boats, Garmin seminars, as well as the Abu Garcia Flip, Pitch, and Cast Contest!
“Yamaha’s continual support of the Collegiate Bass Fishing Series and the world of college fishing has been active since the very first major college fishing event ever held. Yamaha’s support and dedication to scholastic fishing has allowed this type of fishing event to grow while providing opportunities for the future generations coming up in the sport,” said Wade Middleton, ACA Director, and President of CarecoTV. “
